No man's land
A song of tailwinds
Sometimes the distance seems so unbearably thin I believe I am already there. That's when I fall from the tree that taught me to stay silent when I'm too small to see my own shadow. That's when I wake up from the dream that told me to follow the labyrinth when here seems to hide its true name. That's when the fortune is cast and all the spells in the world can’t save me from the lot I was given. Given by whom? these wings ask, a knife piercing the scabs as the wind beneath me howls.
